TE Connectivity Ltd. in Chieti, Abruzzo seeks a Tooling Development Engineer to lead end‑to‑end development of termination machines for high‑volume wire harness production.

You will guide cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into robust, manufacturable solutions meeting quality, cost, and lead‑time targets. This hands‑on, impact‑driven role emphasizes risk assessment, supplier collaboration, and on‑site testing, installation, and commissioning support, with ongoing design reviews

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of product development and engineering experience.
• ≥2 years of industrial automation experience.
• Strong mechanical and mechatronic design knowledge.
• Experience with risk assessments and leading Design and Process FMEA.
• Proficiency with CAD platforms (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
