Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories seeks a Technical Lead to guide complex projects from concept to delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll shape proposals, lead cross-functional teams, and mentor staff while upholding SEL values and world-class manufacturing principles.

This role combines hands-on design, studies, and commissioning in a global, travel-intensive environment, driving protection, automation, and system integration solutions.

Competenze

• 8+ years of relevant application experience with electric power systems or industrial automation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration and automation and communications applications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electric power system design, studies, ICT, and protective relay applications.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least 25%.
• Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Team collaboration and adaptability.

• Act as technical lead across multiple projects and focus areas, guiding concept, design, development, and support.
• Identify and prepare compelling proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems.
• Lead project teams to address customer concerns and enhance satisfaction.
