Saipem is seeking an Automation & Advanced Control Systems Lead to drive engineering across large energy projects. You will lead the design and execution of standard Automation (DCS, ESD, MMS, CCS) and advanced control systems, coordinating with discipline engineers and vendors to meet targets.

You will engage in project scope control, budgeting, and schedule adherence while leveraging digital technologies (Digital Twin, Asset Performance, OT security) to optimize outcomes.

Competenze

• 10+ years in Automation and Advanced Control Systems Engineering, with 5+ years in a Leader role in Energy (Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable or Floaters).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; proactive team environment.
• Independently coordinate with disciplines and suppliers to optimize technical/economical solutions.
• Knowledge of DCS, ESD/SIS, FGS, PLCs, MMS, CCS, RTU, SCADA and OT Cyber Security (IEC 62443).
• Experience with digital environments for plant design and material management.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities for Automation & Advanced Control Systems within assigned projects.
• Oversee estimation, design development and on-site activities, ensuring conformance to requirements, budget and schedule.
• Review client documentation, develop technical specifications and architectures for control systems.
• Manage vendor design documentation, supervise FAT/IFAT and SAT tests.
• Support multidisciplinary reviews and optimize resource allocation to meet project objectives.
