Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Milano is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to deepen expertise in power systems and SEL products, and to help customers apply SEL solutions through site visits, demonstrations, training courses, and phone support.

You will provide imaginative, practical solutions, contribute to product specifications and literature, and participate in marketing, sales activities, and SEL University courses while upholding SEL values and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Typically 6+ years of experience in power systems and related practices
• Ability to write and speak English coherently
• Excellent technical training, speaking, writing, and customer service skills
• Strong communicator who identifies ways to improve customer experience and fosters collaboration
• Ability to lead tasks and inspire others while upholding integrity

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise of power systems, focus area, and SEL products.
• Help customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses and phone contact.
• Provide solutions to a wide variety of problems; support customers across specialization areas.
• Contribute to product specifications, applications, testing software, and literature.
• Present at SEL marketing and sales activities, industry meetings, and conferences.
• Teach SEL University courses within core area.
• Publish application guides, notes, and technical papers.
• Assist engineers, associates, and interns with products and applications.
