Vertiv is seeking a Director, Power Train Technical Business Development to lead pre-sales technical engagement for power infrastructure across global hyperscale and data center customers. The role bridges electrical expertise with customer-facing influence to position Vertiv as the basis of design for power architectures in mission-critical data centers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in technical business development or pre-sales in power systems, with 5+ at senior level.
• Deep data center power experience: UPS, distribution, energy storage.
• Proven track record turning power strategies into revenue and market share growth.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and coordinating with sales leaders.
• Active presence in industry forums or standards bodies; credible at conferences.
• Willingness to travel extensively to strategic customers and locations.

Mansioni

• Lead technical engagement with identified and emerging customers to influence and design power architectures for Vertiv’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with strategic customers to address capacity, density, and reliability requirements in power systems.
• Whiteboard system-level power architectures with CTOs and leadership, discussing trade-offs between AC/DC topologies and modular vs traditional approaches.
• Drive early engagement in the design cycle to shape power requirements before RFPs are issued.
