Job summary

EDITION Hotels at Lake Como location is seeking a Non-Management, full-time restaurant host/hostess to manage dining reservations, seating and guest flow. You will greet guests, organize seating for large groups, ensure correct place settings, and maintain cleanliness.

The role includes supporting management with hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching while upholding safety and company standards. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including staff housing on Lake Como, meal

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, take dining reservations, and enter diner information into reservation system.
• Maintain wait list and quote accurate wait time; make seating decisions using rotation chart.
• Organize seating for large and special needs groups; greet guests and determine party size.
• Seat guests, ensure proper place settings, and provide menus; maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees; model professional conduct.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; ensure confidentiality; protect assets.
