Salesforce is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for the Agentforce platform in Italy's Lombardy region. You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, and influence roadmaps while collaborating with Deployment Strategists to translate complex challenges into deployable AI systems.

Join Salesforce as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for the Agentforce platform, delivering end-to-end agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You will lead technical delivery, mentor engineers, and influence product and engineering roadmaps. Work closely with Deployment Strategists to translate complex challenges into deployable AI systems. Stay at the forefront of AI tooling and share learnings with the team, shaping enterprise AI deployment at scale.

• Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform (agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration) with enterprise-ready integration patterns
• Manage data lifecycle (model design, processing pipelines, data readiness) across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms
• Resolve blockers in data integration, model deployment, and orchestration to maintain deployment health
• Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track outcomes
• Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs, prioritizing decisions that must be right the first time
• Codify learnings into reusable patterns and playbooks for the org
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pair sessions, and shared work
• Provide technical depth on critical deployments and surface field insights to Product and Engineering
• Partner with Deployment Strategist to translate customer challenges into actionable agentic solutions
• 6+ years of software engineering or technical delivery with end-to-end ownership of scalable production systems in AI/cloud/SaaS
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience integrating LLMs into production and using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex; knowledge of prompt engineering and responsible AI in real contexts
• Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks
• Entrepreneurial, fast-delivery mindset with judgment on when speed is appropriate
• Mentored technical talent and created reusable assets (frameworks, playbooks, tooling)
• Strong communication with engineers, customer architects, and executives
• Travel to customer sites as needed; business proficiency in Italian and English
