MotorK is seeking a Data Architect & Engineering Lead to own the data platform's modeling and architecture. You will design models, pipelines and warehouse structure while guiding two data engineers and raising the bar for engineering standards.

The role requires hands‑on execution with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake) and tooling (dbt, Airflow, Airbyte), plus strong collaboration with product and business teams.

• Extensive hands‑on data modeling and architecture experience.
• Strong production experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/Redshift/Snowflake).
• Proven ability to lead engineers through mentorship and reviews.
• Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Own end‑to‑end data modeling architecture across the platform.
• Define target architecture for data infrastructure and roadmap.
• Apply modern data engineering patterns for data estate governance.
• Manage and optimize cloud data warehouse performance and cost.
• Build production pipelines with dbt, Airflow and Airbyte.
• Write production Python for pipelines, tooling and automation.
• Support both batch and streaming use cases (Kafka a plus).
• Introduce AI‑assisted tooling to reduce manual work.
• Mentor a 2‑person data engineering team with code reviews.
• Raise engineering standards for quality, testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders.
