AWS Data Platform Architect – Master Data Lead

Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam, Data & Intelligence Business Line, is seeking a Master Data Architect AWS to lead data platform design, data integration, and governance across client critical projects.

The role requires senior expertise in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, DynamoDB, Glue) and data pipelines, with strong leadership, client management, and ability to mentor engineers in best practices within a highly collaborative environment. Torino presence preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in data analytics projects with BI teams.
• Minimum 5 years managing BI/data analysts up to senior level.
• Working experience in AWS cloud native environment.
• Experience with Big Data architectures, cloud and on-premise.
• AWS infrastructure and networking experience.
• Experience with AWS collection services: Kinesis, Kafka, DMS.
• Experience with S3, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB as core storage.
• Experience with EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS for compute.
• Proven ability to build proofs-of-concept addressing business needs.
• Experience migrating workloads from on-prem to cloud.
• Monitoring distributed infra with AWS tools or open source (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Kanban.
• Strong data manipulation and BI tooling skills.
• Solid stakeholder management with top management exposure.
• Proactive initiative-taking and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage Key Clients and relationships with AWS.
• Lead AWS Center of Excellence and Data & Analytics AWS projects.
• Support Recruitment and development of skills/capabilities.
• Mentor engineers in coding best practices and problem solving.
• Participate in client design workshops and provide tradeoffs/recommendations.
• Design data platform on AWS data store (Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3).
• Design operations architecture and performance tuning for large-scale data lakes.
