Job summary

ABB in Italy's Electrification area seeks an engineer to optimize production methods and lead cross-functional projects from development to sales release. You will define work sequences for new processes and coordinate multi-location teams to meet cost and investment targets.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with agile teams, operations and sales to ensure customer value, timely delivery and compliant documentation across drawings, BoM, instructions, and manuals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to communicate in multicultural environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle projects for products after release and coordinate multi-location teams.
• Manage project costs, scheduling, and deliverables in a global setup.
• Partner with business units and external resources to meet requirements.
• Maintain customer value focus and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Oversee change requests, risk identification, and communication.
• Handle product changes and customizations per ABB gate model from request to sales release.
• Collaborate with agile teams, operations and sales to optimize response time and quality.
• Transfer new products from development to operations with complete documentation.
• Engagement in industrialization processes in electrification.
• Lead cross-functional projects from development to sales release.
