Job summary

Prada Group in Lombardia is seeking a Senior Product Developer - Performance Apparel to transform innovative concepts into technologically advanced garments. You will lead development from concept to industrialization, focusing on high‑performance fabrics and construction techniques, collaborating with Design, Materials, Production, and external partners.

The role requires 10–15 years in technical apparel, strong PLM and Excel skills, and fluent English and Italian, with a passion for innovation

Qualifications

• Degree required in Fashion, Industrial Design, Product Design or related field.
• 10–15 years in high‑performance sportswear/technical apparel product development and innovation.
• Strong proficiency in PLM systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, advanced materials, and experimental design solutions.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage complex development projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Linea Rossa Apparel Design team to translate concepts into technical specifications.
• Manage and oversee the end‑to‑end product development process to meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Lead development of high‑performance garments focusing on innovative materials and construction techniques.
• Liaise with pattern makers, suppliers and manufacturing partners in Italy and internationally.
• Lead fitting sessions and prototype reviews to optimize performance and fit.
• Ensure accurate creation and maintenance of BOMs, material specs and product documentation in PLM.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout development stages.
