Job summary

The Lake Como EDITION is seeking a dedicated kitchen associate to prepare ingredients, cook according to recipes, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness at The Lake Como property in Italy.

Responsibilities include portioning, cooking, dishwashing, and working closely with team members to ensure timely service. Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and checklists; prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; monitor food quality while cooking.
• Set up and break down work stations; maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
