The Lake Como EDITION in Italy is seeking a culinary professional to prepare meals, regulate ovens and grills, thaw items, and ensure proper portions, garnishes, and presentation according to recipes and standards.

You will maintain food logs, monitor quality, communicate needs during busy periods, and inform staff of menu specials while following safety policies. The role includes staff housing, meal vouchers, a staff cafeteria, and Marriott Bonvoy benefits.

Formación

• Preferred: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare meals and follow recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer and thaw in the refrigerator; ensure proper portions and garnishes.
• Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared.
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods; inform Chef of excess food items for specials.
• Inform Food & Beverage staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; follow safety policies.
