Job summary

Vertiv in Piove di Sacco, Italy is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead a team of six test technicians across factory witness testing and product development testing. You will balance production throughput with rigorous test engineering to deliver reliable results.

The role requires a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and at least four years of supervisory experience, plus fluency in Italian and English and strong planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent gained through long-term experience.
• At least 4 years in a supervisory role in a test/production environment with schedule-driven deliverables.
• Proven ability to manage workload planning and allocate resources for a 6-person team.
• Fluent in Italian and English; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the witness test backlog, coordinating 6 technicians to meet delivery dates.
• Coordinate with Sales/Commercial teams to align customer visit schedules with lab availability.
• Ensure test setups are prepared on time and executed according to procedures.
• Oversee data quality, test reporting, and documentation for customers.
