Vertiv in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy, is seeking a Test Engineer to define and execute tests verifying product performances. The role includes managing the test lab, designing necessary test setups and coordinating a small team to build them.

The candidate will analyze results, produce technical documentation and collaborate with R&D/Quality to resolve issues, while supporting production and customer demonstrations. An engineering degree with relevant experience is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Experience with UPS, power converters or low voltage distribution.
• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.
• English proficiency in both written and spoken form.

Mansioni

• Define the tests setup and its script to verify product performances.
• Define measurements (typology, time, sequence) for tests.
• Make electrical drawings and coordinate the team building the test setup.
• Analyze test results and produce proper reports.
• Filter technical/quality issues with R&D/Quality to ensure equipment meets expectations.
• Produce and verify technical documentation such as drawings, user and installation manuals, procedures, datasheets.
• Support regular production during test issues and production tests.
• Support WT Team and customers during demos or witness tests, providing technical explanations.
