Mercor seeks a native Korean annotator to structure and transcribe Korean documents with precise reading order and region bounding. You will ensure Hangul accuracy, including hanja content where applicable, and collaborate with a second reviewer to guarantee high-quality outputs across diverse document formats.

Applicants should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and experience in bilingual transcription or AI training data workflows, delivering consistent results for complex layouts.

Competenze

• Native Korean speaker with full command of Hangul, including hanja where it appears in older/formal documents.
• Extensive experience in bilingual transcription, editorial work, or AI training data review is preferred.
• Character-level accuracy is critical; attention to detail matters more than speed.

Mansioni

• Open and check tasks to ensure pages are Korean and legible with no personal details.
• Annotate structure by bounding each meaningful region and assign component types and reading-order indexes.
• Record relationships by linking regions to their parent figures/tables.
• Transcribe text exactly as it appears in Hangul, flagging illegible regions if any.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and handwriting flags.
• Review a colleague's work through a second expert reviewer to ensure quality.
