Mercor is seeking detail-oriented Korean annotators to build high-quality training data for Korean documents. You will identify and bound all meaningful regions, assign types and reading order, and ensure precise Hangul transcription for complex layouts.

You will review work by a teammate and participate in a strict review process to maintain accuracy, including flagging illegible sections and capturing page metadata for each page.

Competenze

• Native Korean speaker with full Hangul command.
• Experience in transcription, editorial work, or AI training data preferred.
• Character-level accuracy is critical for annotation.

Mansioni

• Open and check a task: verify the page is in Korean and contains real content before annotating.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region and assign type and reading order.
• Record relationships: link regions to the parent figure or table.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce Hangul exactly, flag illegible regions.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, dimensions, and flags for tables, formulas and handwriting.
• Review a colleague's work: second expert reviews every task.
