Job summary

Moncler Group in Milan is seeking a Knitwear Design Intern to assist the Design Team for a six-month, full-time placement starting in November. You will support research, mood boards, color explorations, and sketches under guidance from senior designers.

The role offers exposure to luxury knitwear, collaboration with product teams, and opportunities to engage with internal stakeholders across departments. A Bachelor's in Fashion Design (preferably menswear) and a proactive mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, with a focus on menswear is preferable.
• Collaborative, communicative, and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support design research, prepare visual tools, create mood and colour boards.
• Coordinate with Product Team to align with collection launches after fittings, update collection recap, add new sketches and fabrics allocation.
• Liaise with other departments to maintain relations with external and internal stakeholders.

Overview

We are looking for a passionate and engaged Knitwear Design Intern to join our Design Team in our Global HQ in Milan.

Your Impact

In this role, you will support the team in the following activities:

• Supporting design research, preparing visual tools, creating mood and colour boards;
• Supporting coordination with the Product Team ensuring alignment with collection launches after fittings, creating and updating the collection recap, adding new sketches and fabrics allocation;
• Liaising with other departments in order to maintain relations with external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, with a focus on menswear, is preferable;
• A collaborative, communicative, and proactive approach to work;
• A strong interest in the brand and curious to explore the Moncler world;
• Previous internship experience in a Design Team will be considered a plus;
• Knowledge of textile and material construction and properties;
• Luxury products and Brands knowledge and market position.
