G.D, part of Coesia, is seeking a recent graduate or junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bologna, Italy, through the Coesia Young Professional Program, offering a structured development journey with mentoring and hands-on experience.

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will design machine functions, contribute to sizing, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in design reviews, support prototype development and testing, and gradually gain customer-facing

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Recent graduate or up to 18 months of experience (internships/thesis/projects).
Interest in mechanical design and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

Support design and development of machine functions, mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools.
Contribute to mechanical sizing and engineering calculations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Software, Electronics, Hardware, Calculation, Vision) to integrate solutions.
Participate in design reviews and prepare technical documentation.
Support prototype development, assembly and testing activities for performance and reliability improvements.
Work with senior engineers to identify and implement effective technical solutions.
Develop exposure to customer-facing activities over time; based in Bologna, Italy.
