Rotork in Porcari, Italy is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to support 3D design and technical documentation for our pneumatic and hydraulic actuator range.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams, building your skills while contributing to real projects in a hands-on, growth-oriented environment. The role offers on-site work with a focus on learning and professional development.

Competenze

• Educational background or initial experience in mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD tools.
• Experience creating and managing BOM structures.
• Interest in mechanical systems and technical product development.

Mansioni

• Create 3D models and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., Solid Edge, Inventor).
• Produce detailed drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
• Assist in updating, modifying, and improving existing product designs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities under supervision.
• Perform analytical mechanical calculations using engineering formulas (dimensioning, structural checks, pressure‑related analyses).
• Help investigate design issues and participate in basic problem‑solving tasks.
• Follow internal design standards and contribute to good engineering practices.
