Job summary

SumUp in Milan is seeking a Credit Management Associate to join our Italian market. You will be the dedicated contact for overdue subscriptions and hardware financing, working with Sales, Customer Success and Customer Care to keep accounts on track.

You will contact merchants by phone and email, negotiate repayment agreements, handle billing queries, and collaborate with debt collection agencies as needed, using Salesforce to manage cases and maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Italian with good English
• Experience in a customer-facing role involving negotiation or payment collection
• Comfort with Excel and financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication with a sales orientation

Responsibilities

• Contact merchants by phone and email to collect overdue payments
• Negotiate repayment agreements
• Respond to billing, payment and subscription queries
• Manage cases in the Salesforce queue
• Process cancellation requests and other account changes
• Collaborate with external debt collection agencies
