Job summary

TeamSystem in Lombardia, Italy, seeks a BU Credit Controller to monitor trade receivables for the assigned Business Unit, identify patterns, and provide structured insights to the BU Leader and Collections Team. This senior analyst role is an individual contributor position with no people management responsibilities.

You will analyze customer payment behavior, develop risk-based segmentation, interpret variances, and lead reporting for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Credit Control or AR analysis with data-driven storytelling.
• Proficient in SAP, Oracle or Workday Finance and BI reporting.
• Advanced Excel with credit analysis models and complex formulas.
• English level at least B2; Italian proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with IFRS 9 and multi-country environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/quarterly monitoring of the BU accounts receivable portfolio.
• Analyze payment patterns and develop risk-based segmentation models.
• Explain YoY and MoM variances and translate into actionable insights.
• Develop reporting for BU Leaders and Credit Managers with recommendations.
• Contribute to BU Performance Reviews and guide recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with Collections to set operational priorities based on data.
• Track KPI performance (DSO, aging, write-offs, disputes).
• Identify anomalies and propose preventive actions from a risk view.
