Job summary

Alfasigma is seeking a Senior Director, Supply Chain Italy to lead the Italy BU's integrated supply chain strategy, ensuring product availability, service excellence, and GDP compliance. This role liaises between Global SCM and Italian commercial functions to align forecasts, distribution, and customer service across channels.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Logistics.
• Significant experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated FMCG environments.
• Strong knowledge of IBP, S&OP, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, customer service, distribution, and logistics.
• GDP regulations, ERP systems, KPI management, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Supply Chain strategy for the Italy Business Unit in alignment with global and local objectives.
• Ensure product availability and service continuity in the Italian market.
• Drive transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs in line with the global Supply Chain roadmap.
• Oversee end-to-end process management from demand forecasting through distribution.
• Lead IBP and S&OP processes.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and manage obsolescence risks.
• Oversee distribution operations and optimize network efficiency.
