Job summary

Alfasigma is seeking a Sr. Director, Supply Chain Italy to lead the integrated supply chain strategy for the Italian market, aligning demand, distribution, and customer service with global objectives.

The role oversees Demand Planning, S&OP, and in‑market distribution, while ensuring GDP compliance, inventory optimization, and service excellence for pharmacists, wholesalers, and hospitals. A proven leader with 12–15+ years in pharma or regulated FMCG is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, engineering or related field.
• Experience in IBP, S&OP, demand forecasting and logistics.
• Pharma/healthcare or regulated FMCG background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the Italy supply chain strategy in line with global/local objectives.
• Ensure product availability and service continuity across Italy’s channels.
• Lead IBP and S&OP processes and monitor forecast accuracy.
• Oversee in-market distribution, GDP compliance and network optimization.
• Drive transformation programs and end‑to‑end process management from forecast to distribution.
• Develop and mentor high‑performing teams and foster accountability.
