Deel is seeking a founding product leader to drive payroll operations for Italy, shaping the market with end-to-end strategy across payroll, HR, and time-tracking. You will lead cross-functional teams, deliver regulatory-compliant solutions, and build an entry playbook for Southern Europe from a to-be-established base in Italy.

You will collaborate with sales, implementation, and compliance to scale in a dynamic, high-impact environment, leveraging AI to accelerate delivery while navigating CCNL

• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions and partners.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across Italian and global teams.
• Deep understanding of Italian labor law (CCNL) and INPS contributions.
• Experience building payroll or payroll product capabilities for enterprise customers.

• Collaborate with sales, implementation, and local compliance teams for scalable solutions.
• Think entrepreneurially to build a market entry playbook from scratch.
• Leverage AI to accelerate build and ensure regulatory compliance with local teams.
• Position Italy as the anchor market for Deel’s Southern Europe expansion.

Overview

In this role you lead Deel’s payroll operations for Italy, acting as the founding product leader for a greenfield market. You’ll own end-to-end strategy with cross-functional teams to design payroll, HR, and time-tracking solutions tailored to Italy’s regulatory landscape. You’ll balance ambitious market timelines with prudent prioritization while leveraging AI to accelerate delivery. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape Deel’s Mediterranean expansion and drive cross-country product alignment.

Requisiti fondamentali

• Based in EMEA with proximity to the Italian market
• Fluent in Italian and English for coordination
