Job summary

Aliaxis Italia is seeking a Head of Controlling to lead our national controlling function and partner with the business on strategic performance initiatives across Italy.

Based at either Casella (GE) or Zola Predosa (BO) with regular travel to other Italian sites, the role reports to the Country CFO and drives budgeting, forecasting, and profitability improvements in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Controlling / FP&A, ideally in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience (min. 3–5 years managing teams).
• Experience in multinational environments.
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent Italian & English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to local and EMEA leadership.
• Drive performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Oversee controlling activities across four manufacturing sites.
• Strengthen cost control, productivity, and profitability.
• Act as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing controlling team.
• Ensure compliance with group policies and reporting standards.
• Support strategic initiatives, investments, and transformation projects.
