Axis Communications in Zola Predosa is seeking a Head of Controlling Italy to lead its national controlling function. This strategic role involves collaborating with EMEA stakeholders while driving business performance and transformation. The ideal candidate must have 8-10 years in controlling or FP&A, along with strong leadership experience and fluency in Italian and English.

The position offers hybrid working flexibility, an annual bonus plan, and a competitive salary range between €57,500 and €71,900.

Role Summary

As Head of Controlling Italy, you will lead our national controlling function and act as a strategic partner to the business. Reporting to the Country CFO, you will take on a strategic leadership role with strong business impact, collaborating with international and EMEA stakeholders while driving and shaping business performance, transformation, and supporting strategic growth in a dynamic industrial environment. The role can be based on our site in Zola Predosa (BO) or Casella (GE), but will be required to travel to the other Italian sites on a regular basis according to specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes
• Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to local and EMEA leadership
• Drive performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities
• Oversee controlling activities across four manufacturing sites
• Strengthen cost control, productivity, and profitability
• Act as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high‑performing controlling team
• Ensure compliance with group policies and reporting standards
• Support strategic initiatives, investments, and transformation projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 8–10+ years of experience in Controlling / FP&A, ideally in manufacturing
• Proven leadership experience (minimum 3–5 years managing teams)
• Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, cost/plant controlling and standard costing, KPI development and performance management, and investment evaluation and cash‑flow management
• Experience in multinational environments
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
• Fluent in Italian and English (French is a plus)
