Kerten Hospitality is offering an F&B Kitchen Internship in Rome, Italy. Join a global hospitality operator and support daily kitchen operations under senior chefs, gaining hands-on experience in food prep, mise en place, and service stages.

Ideal candidates are currently studying or recently graduated in culinary arts or hospitality, with a passion for food, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Italian work eligibility is preferred; English basics are welcome.

Competenze

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.
• Strong interest in culinary operations and food & beverage within hospitality.
• Passion for food, creativity, and willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and eagerness to gain hands-on kitchen experience.
• Basic knowledge in English; Italian is an advantage.
• Based in Italy or eligible to work in Italy.

Mansioni

• Support the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of food according to hotel standards and recipes.
• Assist with basic food preparation, ingredient handling, and mise en place for daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products in accordance with FIFO procedures.
• Support chefs during service periods to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Help monitor stock levels and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Learn and apply culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen procedures under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and F&B team members to deliver high-quality dining experiences.
• Participate in training and development activities to build culinary and hospitality skills.
