Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas seeks a Kitchen Internship candidate for Tivoli Portopiccolo Sistiana Wellness Resort & Spa. You will assist the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, and mise-en-place, supporting cooks during busy periods and ensuring HACCP compliance.

Fluency in the local language is required and English knowledge is valued. Accommodation and meals are provided, offering a hands-on hospitality exposure in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Vocational training on hospitality/F&B/kitchen.
• Fluency in local language is a must and knowledge of English is highly valuable.
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for service according to recipes or menu.
• Check temperature of appliances and food.
• Collaborate in preparation and presentation of high quality dishes.
• Monitor quantity of food prepared and portions served.
• Apply FIFO system.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Prepare mise-en-place for relevant menus.
• Assist cooks during peak periods.
• Apply health regulations (HACCP).
• Prepare, use and maintain necessary tools.
