AECOM seeks a senior Energy Leader to grow the Italy energy business, overseeing strategy, client relations and project execution across renewables, transmission, storage, and transition initiatives. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and engage national and international stakeholders to advance sustainable energy solutions.

The role requires a master’s in engineering, 10+ years in energy, and fluent Italian and English, with strong leadership and business development skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering and registration with the Order of Engineers.
• At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector: renewables, energy transport, storage systems.
• Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, team management and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead, manage and grow our energy business in Italy. Drive delivery excellence and collaborate with energy teams across Europe.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as trusted advisor to clients and manage key relationships with utilities, developers and EPCs.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities; prepare technical and economic proposals; monitor Italian regulatory trends.
