Idenergy is seeking a Business Development & M&A Manager to expand its renewable energy portfolio in Italy. Based in Rome, you will work with our Hungary and Spain teams to shape deal opportunities and drive growth.

You will lead evaluation, due diligence, and negotiations with developers and partners, combining commercial judgment with strong analytical skills.

The role offers hybrid working in central Rome and a path to influence strategy across the Italian market.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A or business development in renewable energy.
• Technical understanding of the Italian renewable energy project development landscape.
• Proven experience evaluating investment opportunities and business cases.
• Experience with M&A transactions, project acquisitions, partnerships or similar transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with financial modelling and project valuation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong network within the Italian renewable energy market is a plus.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, advisors and market participants.
• Screen and evaluate renewable energy projects from commercial, financial and strategic perspectives.
• Lead local management of M&A processes in Italy from identification to closing.
• Coordinate due diligence with internal teams (technical, legal, financial, commercial).
• Manage commercial negotiations with developers, partners and counterparties.
• Monitor Italian renewable energy market/regulatory developments and trends.
• Collaborate with Hungarian and Spanish teams sharing insights and best practices.
• Represent the company in meetings with external stakeholders and support growth in Italy.
