Our client is a leading international QSR company expanding across Italy. They seek a Senior Construction Manager to lead execution of new openings nationwide, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence and top-quality standards.

The role reports to the Group Expansion & Construction Director and involves overseeing external engineering firms, contractors, and suppliers from planning through opening. A hands-on senior professional with strong leadership and multi-site experience is ideal.

Competenze

• Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
• Around 15 years of experience in construction and site management.
• Strong hands-on experience in construction execution and site management.
• Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, budgets and project timelines.
• Experience in fast-track construction, fit-out, retail, hospitality, restaurants, supermarkets or other multi-site environments will be highly valued.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of permitting, construction processes and site operations.
• Fluent Italian and professional English are required.
• Willingness and availability to travel extensively across Italy.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Pragmatic, proactive and execution-oriented mindset.

Mansioni

• Lead and oversee construction projects and new openings across Italy.
• Coordinate and manage external engineering firms, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure project milestones and opening deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Oversee permitting and ensure all required licenses and authorisations are obtained.
• Manage CAPEX, budgets, costs and potential deviations.
• Ensure compliance with construction, quality, health & safety and company standards.
• Work closely with Expansion and Operations to ensure a smooth transition from construction to opening.
• Visit construction sites regularly and maintain close control of execution.
• Build strong relationships with external partners and ensure their performance meets expectations.
• Lead and support the existing Construction team.
• Help develop and improve construction processes and ways of working as the business continues to expand.
