Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking Italian-speaking Banking & Financial Services Specialists to join our international customer support team in Lisbon. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries via phone, email and chat and resolving issues with a professional, customer-focused approach.

This 12-month contract offers full-time hours (40 per week) with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian and good English communication.
• Strong customer-focused and empathetic approach.
• Confident in handling complex situations and making decisions.
• Able to work independently and with a team.
• Experience in banking/financial services or contact centres is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and chat, aiming for first-contact resolution.
• Manage customer cases from start to finish, including complex requests.
• Provide support with banking transactions, fraud-related cases, disputes and chargebacks.
• Handle complaints professionally and ensure fair outcomes.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers, adapting approach as required.
• Follow procedures while using good judgment in complex situations.
• Share knowledge and provide feedback to colleagues to improve processes.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer and business needs.
