ATG Europe is seeking an IT Technician to join the Workforce Management Service supporting the IT Department of the European Space Agency in Frascati, Italy. The role involves hands-on telephony and network tasks at ESA facilities, with security screening prior to employment.

You will perform telephony installation, end-user support, asset management, and onsite network duties, coordinating with engineering teams and service providers to ensure reliable connectivity and operational continuity.

Competenze

• Experience with telephony and networking hardware.
• Ability to perform installation, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment.
• Familiarity with asset tracking and inventory management.

Mansioni

• Telephony support: installation, configuration, troubleshooting of fixed telephony services.
• End-user support for telephony devices and cabling.
• Manage telephony assets and stock in asset management system.
• Support service providers during testing and maintenance; escort external technicians.
• Onsite network support under guidance of Network Operations and Engineering teams.
• Patch and configure network devices, servers, cabling, and end-user equipment.
• Troubleshoot, setup, configure, reboot, decommission, refresh, and dispose of networking gear.
• Install and verify network equipment and racks per standards.
• Assist remote connectivity setup and remote device inspections.
• Maintain network inventory and cabling records in DCIM and cabling systems.
