UniCredit S.p.A. in Milan seeks highly motivated students for the Global Syndicate internship within Debt Markets. You will support deal materials, pitch books, and reporting across the deal lifecycle, gaining exposure to LBO, M&A financings, and post-IPO work.

The role is designed for finance, banking or economics students, with strong English, analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office. You will learn from multiple finance units and collaborate under tight timelines.

Formación

• Pursuing studies in Finance, Banking, Economics, or Business.
• Strong English both written and spoken.

Global Syndicate is an international team at the core of UniCredit's Debt Markets business within Financing & Advisory Solutions division.

We are consistently ranked as the number one bank in Italy, as well as among the top 5 in the EMEA region.

The team takes responsibility for structuring, pricing and placement of syndicated corporate and leveraged loans in close coordination with Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leverage Finance, relationship managers as well as with other banks. Typical transactions include LBO and M&A financings, refinancings and pre/post IPO financings.

What you'll be doing

• You will be involved in preparation of pitch books, syndication materials, pricings, and roadshow materials for internal and external purposes
• You will get an insight into the entire lifecycle of deal - from the initial pitch to the closing of the transaction
• You will assist with reporting for internal and external purposes
• You will get to interact closely with colleagues from UniCredit's different finance units and representatives from other banks

What you'll need to succeed

• Study in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration or related Finance/Business studies
• Strong proficiency in oral and written English, further language skills beneficial
• Knowledge of accounting standards and corporate finance essentials
• Interest to analyze and prepare supporting materials for a variety of corporates
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and under time pressure
• Experience in MS Office products, especially Excel and Power Point
• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail and structured manner of work
