Job summary

Marioff is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, inspect, and maintain HI-FOG Water Mist Fire Protection Systems on Oil & Gas facilities, including offshore platforms and LNG terminals. The role demands a strong technical background, proactive customer service, and safe work in demanding industrial environments.

Travel is extensive (up to 80-90%), with offshore deployments and emergency interventions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar field.
• Experience in a role with similar responsibilities is required.
• Fluent Italian and English, written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
• Understanding of electrical control panels and instrumentation.
• Ability to read P&IDs, mechanical drawings and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and start-up activities for HI-FOG systems.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on Water Mist Systems.
• Conduct inspections, testing and performance verification.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems.
• Prepare service reports and documentation after site work.
• Support emergency call-outs and unplanned maintenance.
