Viking EMEA in the Milan area seeks a Local Technical Support Engineer to be the trusted technical expert for the Italian market, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while delivering Level 2 technical support for water, foam, water mist, gas and detection products.

You will train contractors and end-users, promote Viking products through seminars and exhibitions, and work with sales and product teams to optimize offerings and support local sales targets.

Competenze

• Background in technical or business development within fire protection or related business.
• Engineering background (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) suitable for contracting environments.
• Proficiency in Italian and English; French a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide Level 2 technical support for Viking EMEA customers and staff.
• Deliver technical trainings to contractors, end-users and specifiers.
• Specify Viking products and solutions to end-users, engineering bodies and specifiers.
• Promote Viking products through seminars, lunch & learns, exhibitions and other events.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to optimize product offerings and support local sales targets.
• Prepare system bills of materials from tender documents and specifications to assist local quotes.
• Support local Sales Representatives in identifying new project opportunities and onsite support.
