Job summary

Hill International in Italy seeks a senior HVAC/Piping Supervisor to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and piping systems in oil and gas facilities. You will supervise piping and HVAC activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and interface with QA/QC and commissioning teams.

The role requires a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and fluent English for reporting.

Qualifications

BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
10 years work experience after earning the degree.
Excellent English with ability to write reports.
Proficient in interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, HVAC duct layouts and installation specs.
Hands-on piping materials knowledge (carbon steel, stainless, GRE/GRP) and HVAC components.
Strong leadership and multi-discipline coordination skills.
Working knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
Familiar with QA/QC protocols and safety regulations in oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee piping supervision including fabrication, erection, welding, and testing.
Supervise HVAC systems installation, ducting, AHUs, fans, chillers, and ventilation.
Coordinate daily activities with technicians and subcontractors.
Interface with civil, electrical, instrumentation to resolve clashes and ensure progress.
Support QA/QC inspections, safety procedures, and commissioning activities.
