Baker Hughes offers an Internship Program designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in energy-sector manufacturing.

You will work on AI-enabled solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and shop floor validation.

Competenze

• Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience or interest in energy-sector manufacturing, machining, fabrication, and use of digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools within the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly machining and fabrication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Be fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills.
• Be able to legally work in the country without sponsorship.

Mansioni

• Improve operational processes and support AI-based solutions within Microsoft 365, combining analysis with shop floor validation (60/40).
• Analyze processes, identify improvement opportunities, develop AI-enabled tools, and validate on the shop floor with feedback from operations.
• Optimize operational efficiency through the development and adoption of integrated Microsoft 365 and AI tools.
• Support manufacturing operations for energy-sector components, focusing on machining and fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operators, HSE, Facility & Maintenance, and Quality teams to support process improvements.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to analyze processes, implement improvements, and support digital transformation.
• Gain hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing while contributing to projects that combine industrial operations, digital tools, and AI within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Process optimization, digital transformation, and increased adoption of AI-enabled solutions in office and shop floor activities.
• Support the manufacturing of compressor casings, gas turbine components, and other energy products.
• Focusing on manufacturing process improvement, digital solutions development, and the use of Microsoft 365 AI tools.
• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Learn internal software to assist with project tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to interact with global business leaders.
• Apply HS&E standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
