The WIKA Group in Arese, Lombardy, is seeking a skilled sales support specialist to provide remote and on-site assistance. You will handle commercial and technical inquiries, prepare quotes, and support pre-sales activities, collaborating with Area Sales Managers.

Important duties include maintaining CRM data, monitoring quotations, and coordinating with production to optimize processes. English at B2 level and a technical background are required for effective communication.

Qualifications

• Technical or scientific diploma or bachelor degree with 2+ years of experience.
• English (written and oral) at least B2 level.

Responsabilités

• Provide remote support to customers on commercial and technical matters.
• Prepare and issue commercial quotations with Area Sales Managers.
• Assist customers during pre-sales activities to identify technical product requirements.
• Maintain customer CRM data and update it regularly.
• Monitor quotations and follow up on activities.
• Clarify technical aspects of orders with internal sales specialists and align on pricing and margins.
• Coordinate with production units to optimize quotation processes.
• Support updating customer master data, price lists, and product data in CRM.

Your activities

• Provides remote support to customers on both commercial and technical matters
• Prepares and issues commercial quotations to customers, collaborating with Area Sales Managers and sales agents where applicable
• Supports customers during pre-sales activities through to order receipt and assists them in identifying the most suitable technical product requirements
• Supports the Area Sales Manager in the continuous update and maintenance of the customer database (CRM)
• Monitors quotations and ensures appropriate follow-up activities are carried out
• Clarifies technical aspects of orders with internal sales specialists and aligns with the Customer Sales Team Leader on pricing, discounts, and margin-related matters
• Maintains regular contact with WIKA production units to optimize the quotation process, including the opening of Internal Requests when required
• Supports Area SalesManagers in continuously updating the customer database with information related to prices, discounts, customer master data, product master data, and guidelines

Your profile

• Technical / Scientific diploma or Technical / Scientific bachelor degree and 2+ years of experience
• English (written and oral) B2 level as a minimum
• Having an aptitude for technical discussions and understanding of product features
• Interested in frequent interactions with customers, business partners and colleagues
• Written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively transfer and interpret written and oral requests and requirements
• Knowledge of Process and Automation Instrumentation and its Applications is a plus but not a mandatory requirement
