Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer to oversee administration and maintenance of enterprise productivity, messaging, and identity management across hybrid cloud environments. You will manage identity federation, troubleshoot authentication, and ensure service availability while partnering with internal IT teams to strengthen security.

The successful candidate will oversee the administration and maintenance of enterprise productivity, messaging, and identity management architecture across hybrid cloud environments. Primary responsibilities involve managing identity federation, troubleshooting authentication and access issues, and ensuring seamless platform availability across core services. Additionally, the ideal candidate will partner with internal IT stakeholders to drive infrastructure improvements and enhance overall environment security.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and administration across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem


• Manage and troubleshoot Exchange Online and Exchange on-premises


• Support hybrid Exchange environments and related migrations/configurations


• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise identity services


• Administer and support OKTA and identity federation


• Troubleshoot authentication, access and permissions issues


• Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and related platforms


• Work within a structured, multinational enterprise environment


• Collaborate with internal IT teams and other technical stakeholders


• Assist with infrastructure improvements, troubleshooting and ongoing service management


• Ensure the stability, security and availability of Microsoft 365 services

Skills/Must Have:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365


• Strong Exchange experience across both on-premises and Exchange Online


• Experience working with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)


• Experience with OKTA


• Strong understanding of enterprise identity, authentication and access management


• Experience working within large‑scale or multinational enterprise environments


• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider technical teams

Desirable Skills:

• Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft environments


• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance


• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
