Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Market Quality Operations lead to safeguard product quality and regulatory compliance across Italy. You will partner with logistics to ensure cold chain excellence, drive audits, CAPA, and continuous improvement while coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and customer concerns.

Fluency in English is mandatory, and occasional travel across Italy is expected to support audits, supplier sites, and customer activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, etc.).
• Several years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or R&D within FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with audits, CAPA management, and quality performance monitoring.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 20% across Italy for audits and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead Market Quality Operations activities across the country ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Logistics teams to drive end-to-end cold chain excellence including temperature control and warehouse performance.
• Lead warehouse audits and track corrective actions (CAPA) for distribution operations.
• Monitor quality KPIs and perform data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Act as primary contact for critical consumer and customer quality complaints and coordinate investigations and corrective actions.
• Support quality incidents and crisis management within the country context, coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives to strengthen customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Support Collaborative Manufacturing partners through audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor quality-related stock provisions, blocked stock and waste management processes.
• Influence quality culture across functions through training and leadership of improvement initiatives.
• Support digital quality systems and platforms, aiding standardization across the European network.
• Lead on-shelf quality assessments as part of the Unmissable Brand Superiority program.
