The World Food Programme is seeking an M&E Consultant (Impact Evaluations) in Rome to lead design, management and execution of rigorous impact evaluations. You will work with the Office of Evaluation to apply experimental methods, manage data collection and ensure timely, policy-relevant results.

Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement across country offices, IRB processes, data analysis, and dissemination of findings.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in economics, development studies, public health or related field.
• Three years of relevant professional experience in impact evaluations.
• Experience with experimental and quasi-experimental methods.

Mansioni

• Support impact evaluations within windows and ongoing studies.
• Assist in IRB approvals and data-collection procurement.
• Design and revise survey instruments and data collection tools.
• Lead or support data analysis per evaluation designs and deadlines.
• Engage with country and regional stakeholders on field activities.
• Produce inception, mid-line and end-line reports as required.
• Support QA and peer-review of evaluation outputs.
• Organize dissemination workshops and conduct field visits.
• Contribute to grant reporting and budgeting efforts.
• Share lessons learned with OEV, programmes and partners.
• Provide on-demand technical support for evaluation inquiries.
