Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in a home-based setting seeks expressions of interest for an evaluation specialist to support the GEF-7 Common Oceans Programme and its child projects. The role requires senior-level evaluation experience and strong analytical and communication skills.

The consultant will help design evaluations, manage data collection, develop theories of change, conduct interviews and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports for FAO’s Office of Evaluation

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in evaluation or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant evaluation experience.
• Working knowledge of English (level C).

Mansioni

• Review programme and project documentation.
• Contribute to evaluation design, inception reports and data collection tools.
• Develop theories of change and support learning activities.
• Conduct interviews, consultations, field visits and assessments.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Draft evaluation reports and other outputs.
