Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in analytical instrumentation, seeks a Field Service Engineer II (IC-LC-MS) in Italy. You will install, maintain and repair IC-LC-MS instruments across research, industrial and healthcare settings.

You’ll work on instruments like IC, HPLC, Integrion, Vanquish, Triple Quadrupole, IonTrap and Orbitrap, travel up to 50-75%, and collaborate with customers to ensure top performance and compliance with GMP-like safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or Bachelor's with 2 years of experience in analytical instruments.
• Preferred fields: Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 50-75%.
• Ability to read technical docs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and validate IC-LC-MS instruments on site.
• Schedule and prioritize service activities; maintain inventory.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality support.
• Promote service contracts and upgrades.
• Document service activities and prepare reports.
