Bvlgari in Roma seeks a dedicated IP professional to safeguard the company’s global trademarks, designs, copyrights and patents. You will manage filings, renewals and portfolio integrity while coordinating with Marketing, Legal and Product teams to mitigate risks before launches.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in Intellectual Property within international settings and a good grasp of luxury-brand enforcement. Italian salary guidance is provided; growth opportunities exist within LVMH group.

Competenze

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Intellectual Property, Brand Protection, in an international company and/or a law firm.
  • Experience supporting trademark portfolio management, IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting initiatives.
  • Exposure to luxury industry is a strong advantage.

Mansioni

  • Manage the Company’s global Intellectual Property portfolio (trademarks, designs, copyrights, patents and domain names), ensuring timely filings, renewals and maintenance.
  • Conduct clearance analyses and risk assessments to support new product initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Development, Innovation and Legal teams to mitigate IP risks before launches.
  • Coordinate anti-counterfeiting and brand protection activities across physical and digital channels.

Mission
Protect and strengthen the Company’s intellectual property rights and brand integrity by ensuring the effective management of the global IP portfolio and supporting coordinated brand protection and enforcement initiatives. The role contributes to safeguarding brand equity by preventing infringements, supporting anti-counterfeiting actions, mitigating IP risks associated with new products and markets, and ensuring compliance with applicable intellectual property laws and international best practices.

Job responsibilities
  • Manage the Company’s global Intellectual Property portfolio (trademarks, designs, copyrights, patents and domain names), ensuring timely filings, renewals, maintenance and accurate portfolio administration.
  • Conduct trademark, design and domain availability searches, preliminary clearance analyses and risk assessments to support new product, collection and business initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Development, Innovation and Legal teams to identify, assess and mitigate IP risks before commercial launches.
  • Conduct global anti-counterfeiting and brand protection activities across physical and digital channels, supporting the implementation of enforcement strategies.
  • Monitor potential infringements across marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, social media, domain names and other digital environments through specialized monitoring providers.
  • Coordinate investigations, evidence collection, customs actions, seizures, raids and authentication activities in collaboration with external investigators, customs authorities and law enforcement agencies.
  • Support litigation, oppositions, cancellation actions, cease-and-desist procedures and other IP enforcement matters by coordinating with external counsel and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Manage relationships with external IP law firms, trademark agents, investigators and specialized service providers, monitoring deadlines, deliverables and overall case progress.
  • Maintain accurate IP databases, enforcement records, litigation documentation and management reporting to ensure portfolio integrity and effective decision-making.
Profile
Technical Skills
  • Solid knowledge of Intellectual Property law, including trademarks, industrial designs, copyright, patents and domain names.
  • Experience managing international IP portfolios and related prosecution processes.
  • Good understanding of online and offline brand protection and anti-counterfeiting practices.
  • Knowledge of trademark clearance, infringement assessment and IP risk analysis.
  • Experience supporting litigation, enforcement actions, oppositions and administrative proceedings.
  • Familiarity with customs surveillance procedures, investigations, evidence management and enforcement workflows.
  • Knowledge of IP database management systems and document management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with IP management platforms is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are considered a plus.

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to assess legal and business risks pragmatically.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple parallel matters and strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across multicultural environments.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business guidance.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Intellectual Property, Brand Protection, gained in an international company and/or a specialized law firm.
  • Experience supporting trademark portfolio management, IP enforcement and anti-counterfeiting initiatives in a multinational environment.
  • Previous exposure to luxury industry is considered a strong advantage.
Additional information

For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR 40000

This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organizational needs.

In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.

The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Commercio), as applied by Bulgari Spa in Italy.
