Job summary

JMG Solutions Ltd leads a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan, acting as the client-side representative to drive delivery, manage interfaces and ensure alignment with programme objectives.

The Construction Manager will oversee site activities, contractor performance and project closeout, coordinating closely with the wider project team to resolve issues and achieve milestone commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-side/owner's representative environments.
• Proven delivery of large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong general contractor management and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client-side construction delivery against programme milestones and specs.
• Coordinate GC, subcontractors and equipment suppliers to minimise interfaces.
• Monitor programme progress and develop mitigation strategies for delays.
• Review construction quality and track issues through to resolution.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental performance oversight.
• Manage construction documentation, queries and communications for timely decisions.
• Coordinate owner-furnished equipment delivery with installation activities.
• Support commissioning planning and resolution of outstanding issues.
• Oversee snagging, handover documentation and project closeout.
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior project stakeholders.
