Job summary

Optimus Search is hiring a Senior Construction Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of a large-scale data centre campus in Milan, Italy. You will shape the on-site execution strategy, manage design coordination, and drive collaboration with international stakeholders.

Based in Italy with fluent Italian and English, you will oversee budgets, schedules, and quality across multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project objectives throughout the

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager, Construction Project Manager or similar.
Strong background in large-scale construction projects, ideally within the data centre sector.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Knowledge of Italian construction regulations and permitting.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee construction activities across a large-scale data centre development.
Support pre-construction activities, including design coordination, planning and construction readiness.
Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality standards and construction progress.
Coordinate with international stakeholders and local project teams.
Support permitting processes and liaise with relevant Italian authorities.
Monitor project risks, resources and delivery milestones.
Support the development and leadership of the local construction management team.
