Job summary

CNH Industrial Group in Modena, Italy is seeking a Vehicle Performance & Fluid Power Virtual Analysis Engineer to lead early concept simulations and virtual validation across powertrain, driveline, hydraulic and electrified vehicle systems. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in off-road or related sectors and a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.

Qualifications

Master's degree in mechanical, automotive, energy or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years of professional industry experience in off-road, agriculture, construction, automotive or commercial vehicles.
Knowledge of vehicle performance, powertrain, driveline and energy management principles.
Knowledge of fluid power systems: hydraulic architectures, subsystems, components, efficiency and power losses.
Knowledge of hybrid and electrified off-road vehicle architectures, energy management and alternative fuel technologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize vehicle productivity, fuel efficiency, energy utilization and overall machine performance.
Support vehicle target setting and requirements definition.
Perform vehicle-level powerflow and energy balance analyses.
Assess driveline efficiency, traction capability and operational performance.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and technology assessments.
