Job summary

WIIT, an Italian cloud leader with offices in Germany and Switzerland, seeks a Solution Architect to structure value-driven solutions for customers and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders. The role drafts technical offers with Operations teams and supports Sales throughout the process.

Requirements include at least 2 years in pre-sales, expertise in VMware/KVM, IBM Power, Windows/Linux, major cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud), DR/BC, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in pre-sales or similar roles.
• Knowledge of VMware and KVM virtualization architectures and products.
• Knowledge of IBM Power ecosystem architectures (IBM i, AIX).
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Knowledge of major IaaS and PaaS services on Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery processes and Business Continuity mechanisms (RPO, RTO, SLA, etc.).
• Knowledge of server and system migrations and P&L related to an offer.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: Cybersecurity Managed Services, AI platforms, and cloud architecture/security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer business objectives, technical requirements and pain points
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams on strategic projects
• Draft technical offers and presentations for WIIT services
• Support Sales and Channel Partner teams throughout all phases of the sales process
• Proactively propose new solutions aligned with cloud service evolution
• Collaborate with Project, Service Delivery, and Operations teams during service implementation
• Gather requirements for upselling opportunities with existing customers
